Thankfully there’s still plenty going on (news, gossip and chat etc) on Facebook. Unfortunately that’s what probably sealed the board’s fate before the retiral of the band – several other forums I an a member of went the same way.
Absolutely we’re still here ……. and “Still Hungry”!!! Thank you for all the fabulous road reports, for the occasional times shared down the front – or round the back 😉 and for the friendship forged. This may be the end of one chapter but the story will go on because “You Can’t Stop Rock ‘n’ Roll”
If anyone doubts how hard you’ve worked over the last few years for us and for the band here’s a photo I took in Athens a few years ago. Picture the scene – it’s 1am, the band and crew just finished a punishing set at a club in Athens where the temperature indoors had to be around 50C, we’re back at the band hotel by the poolside bar on the rooftop with the most amazing view of the Acropolis behind us. My wife and I are sharing a glass of wine with JayJay, Mark, Eddie and AJ and our kids are draining several bottles of water (it was sooo hot!) (thank you very much Danny!) and I turn around to see Terry in a corner, PC plugged in, bashing out the evening’s report before he and the band head off first thing next morning. That’s dedication.

Just reading between the lines – it says on the homepage “last Tri-State appearance” not last ‘US’ so I’m thinking they’re perhaps keeping their options open for another (more) booking(s)??? Maybe I’m just reading too much into the wording but here in Europe they were careful to bill shows as the last at a particular show until they had definately decided on the last show in a set country.
Saw them with Twisted in Sweden 2013 for the first (and only) time. Quite enjoyed them. How did you get on?

Got my Bloodstock tickets this evening but waiting with baited breath to find out where else the Boyz are playing so I can plan another couple of gigs.Marty
Wish I could but as discussed no lucK!! Danny has said on Facebook there will be a new Twisted date announced at around 1pm EST 🙂 🙂
I’m not so sure ‘communicating’ is the correct word. 😉 Facebook is good for seeing what is going on (TS-wise) but other than a couple of “likes” or comments, there isn’t nearly the amount of discussion goes on. It’s a very superficial, impersonal medium – unless you’re talking/sharing with close friends.
It is the same however for other discussion boards/forums I am part of – the topics do slow down when a Facebook group etc is set up. Unfortunately the quality of information shared is often reduced however. Facebook is can be a very lazy way to communicate.
As for the reCAPTCHA box – if it stops idiots selling handbags or shoes on here I can cope 😉
