Hey, y’all,
I’ve noticed quite a few new registrations of obviously fake user accounts over the past few days. It looks as though the spambots have found us. To slow them down a little, I’ve set up the registration process a little differently.
Instead of a new user registering and getting their account login info straight away, now I get an email saying someone signed up – and I have the option to approve or deny them.
Might make it a little slower for actual humans, but it’ll pretty much prevent any ads for Vuitton bags or whatever the penis drug of the month is.
Just trying to make you SMFs comfy in your new digs…
