I never had the privilege of meeting Pat but I've seen the posts here and heard the stories. My sympathies go out to all of his friends and family.

Wow! I just found out about his parting just now. He was the member with the coolest avatar here. The one with the jumping dolphin! He was a very standup guy. I was hoping to get to meet him at one of the shows. At least I got to talk to him over the years on the Slamboard. My condolences to his surviving family members.

Dear Joey and Pat's family,

I am so sorry to be late on this reply. Sincerest condolences on his unfortunate and untimely death. I was shocked as everyone else. I had not been FB since last year fall so had not known he was in the hosital for months and ill. I knew Pat for about 11 years thanks to ♥TS♥ and also his admiration for Brian Posehn and Murphy's Law. We were supposed to go to see Brian Posehn live {compliments of free tickets Pat had} but last minute Brian cancelled his gig in Montauk a couple of years ago. I am even more saddened now we didn't get that chance to hang out. .

I know how much he loved his family as he used to send me photo's of trips he took and always looked so happy. He always spoke his mind, if you asked him something you can bet big bucks you were always going to get the most honest answer no matter what. A true friend.

My sincere thoughts and ╬prayers╬ are with you Joey and Pat's family. He will always be remembered.

With deepest sympathy and mutual grief,
ζø√ξ ♥Cyndi
Fast Joey

Awww...no prayers necessary for me, but thanks...I'll take all I can get.

I only wish I could have been closer to Pat, it was an honor to have known him and his passion for music was unmatched. Just found a video that the record company had made a while back trying to show the "people" at the labels that are behind the scenes bringing us all the music we love, and they had one for Pat. If you have the time, take a look...and if you never met him, this is one way to find out who he was and what he was all about...

Not sure which link will work here...

Also...the record company has released a disc to try and help Pat's family. 100% of the proceeds go into a fund to help pay for his little girls college when she gets there.

Only five bucks, GO FOR IT people...help them out a little if ya can. Some great stuff on there and EVERY band gave up 100% of any royalties in order to do this for him.

The tracklisting for the compilation is as follows:

1. Brian Posehn - More Metal Than You
2. Exhumed - The Beginning After The End (Previously Unreleased
3. Mastodon - Mother Puncher
4. Kingdom of Sorrow - Screaming into the Sky
5. Baroness - Take My Bones Away
6. Red Fang - Wires
7. Death - A Moment Of Clarity
8. Revocation - Teratogenesis
9. Brutal Truth - Old World Order
10.Dying Fetus - Second Skin
11.Black Anvil - Ultimate Reality
12. Agoraphobic Nosebleed - Sword Swallower
13. Zombi - Siberia
14. Pig Destroyer - The American's Head
15. Toxic Holocaust - Sound The Charge
16. Murder Construct - No Question, No Comment
17. Horseback - Arjuna
18. Dillinger Escape Plan - Sunshine the Werewolf
19. Abysmal Dawn - In Service of Time
20. Total Fucking Destruction - In The Process of Correcting Thinking Errors

100% of proceeds from the compilation will go towards a college fund for his young daughter Katie. Relapse thanks each band for contributing each track and waiving their royalty fee to maximize the benefit for Pat’s beloved family. The compilation is available via Bandcamp at this location for only $5 but friends and fans are welcome to donate as much as they want. Direct contributions may also be made via paypal to wellmissyoupat at relapse.com.
