I was in the process of cleaning out some old papers and such, and lo! and behold! I found my original notes from my very first Twisted Sister show, January 22, 1986!

Apparently, I haven't changed as much as I thought I had....I scrawled down everything from what I wore to what I ate for dinner...took copious notes including some observations that may NEVER get printed...I was 15...there were some scantily clad lovelies in the row in front of me....figure out the rest.

I even wrote down all the Dee-isms!
Anyhow....I can't believe it...but I found, in the middle of 8 or so pages...the setlists from both the opener Dokken and TS!
So, my babies...Here ya go...I did make a notes that the setlists were not 100% in order...

Dokken:
Tooth & Nail
Alone again
The Hunter
Just Got Lucky
When Lighting Strikes
Into the Fire
When Heaven Comes Down
Breaking the Chains

AND....your 26 years late setlist... not in order but hopefully all there...
Twisted Sister: January 22, 1986, Capital Center, Largo MD

Come Out and Play
Leader of the Pack
Under the Blade
I am, I'm Me
The Price
I Believe in Rock N Roll
I Wanna Rock
We're Not Gonna Take It
Burn In Hell
You Want What We Got
You Can't Stop Rock n' Roll
Be Crool to your Scuel (encore--with Dee on guitar)

good times! see you soon!

Maybe but it's not really Dokken anymore since it's just Don Dokken playing with a hired band.

No kidding? Audio or video? I'd love to get the WHOLE setlist, in order--I can't believe this setlist is complete. It's only 12 songs...

It's an audio bootleg and actually this IS the whole setlist, only the song order was slightly different

Come Out and Play
Leader of the Pack
Under the Blade
I Believe in Rock N Roll
You Can't Stop Rock n' Roll
I am, I'm Me
We're Not Gonna Take It (incl. video intro)
Burn In Hell (incl. drum solo)
I Wanna Rock
You Want What We Got
- Band introduction -
The Price
Be Crool to your Scuel (encore--with Dee on guitar)

For the European dates they added a song here and there, sometimes Kids are back or Shoot 'em down or S.M.F

There was the whole concert on youtube from Detroit from that tour, Dokken set is still up, can't find the Twisted video bootleg though someone took it off of youtube.

Cool Terry.... did you happen to see them more times in the 80-es or was it just that one?

hey Mac
I wanted to see them in 1985 Stay Hungry but parents forbid it (I was only 14)...finally saw them live in 1986....was going to see them play in 87 at a smaller club on the LIFS tour but my grandfather died, and it was the day of the funeral. Yes...I still tried to go but the parents won out again. (I had never driven anywhere on my own that was outside my district--so I couldn't even "steal" the family car and go) I know it sounds lame and a little crazy....but I held onto a fear of long distance driving for many, many years, even after a cross-country drive. It was the 2003 July show that made me overcome this fear and I white-knuckled a 3 hour drive to 6-Flags.

amazing the things that passion for heavy metal will make us do!
