Location: Toronto, Canada | Interesting story behind the item. This should go in the Twisted Archives.
I also find it interesting how in the seller's description they mention that they hope Dee bids on it, as who would know the whereabouts of the cast iron manhole....isn't that what photographer Marc Weiss had been holding onto and recently donated to a rock n roll museum? |

Location: Baltimore, MD | Well...we all now know where the manhole is--the original --Mark Weiss shared that awesome video as it was packed onto the truck on it's way for public display. Personally, I believe that if Dee wanted it...he should just give it to him.
There's another really sad piece of memorabilia on the eBay right now---Dee auctioned off one of his gold records (or was it platinum) at the Autism benefit. He even personalized it for the fan. The guy is now selling it on eBay because he needs money...he says he'll give 15% to Autism charities, but even so....if it hadn't personalized it, it might be a bit more attractive...

| SOME INFO ON THE MANHOLE COVER: THE MOLD IN THE AUCTION WAS MADE BY TAIT TOWERS IN LANCASTER, PA. THEY CONSTRUCTED THE STAGE FOR THE COAP TOUR. MARK WEISS HAD THE MANHOLE COVER FROM THE PHOTOS, I HAVE THE ONE USED ON STAGE.
