The first four TS albums were better than any of his solo albums.

Jesus Christ....jump down the dude's throat and set up tent, why don't ya? I feel like I'm reading youtube responses(well...moaybe not THAT bad). First off, so...fucking....what...if he said "Dee's solo albums"??? It's a given what he meant. And for fans of a band that preached to be an individual and not care what anyone else thinks..shame on you guys. Who friggin cares if someone doesn't like Dee's music? Summon the powers from above! It's fuckin sacrilege!!!

Some of you people make me fuckin sick. No wonder I find myself stopping by here less and less.

It's such a turn off. If we don't kiss Dee's ass and suck Twisted's dick some of y'all get so bent out of shape which in turn bends me out of shape. And this is the pissfire that ensues.

As far as I'm concerned "Stand By For Pain" is absolutely incredible and showcases some of the best work Dee's ever written. It blows away "Blood and Bullets"(although I do like that album quite a bit...it's a kick ass pile driver of aggression...but it doesn't compare to SBFP). Tho for the simple minded Twisted fan who can't appreciate higher production value, more complicated progressions & sophisticated lyrics, it's no wonder "Blood and Bullets" suits you more.

First up, why go on Twisted Sister's website, to slag Dee off?
(B). Why does loving Widowmaker, Desperado etc. and saying so, amount to kissing Dee's ass (Let alone sucking anyones dick!!)?
(4). Why do you feel the need to post abuse, towards other SMF's?
No ones response on this thread comes across as insulting or hostile.
I, personally don't give a flying fuck, if having a difference of opinion from anyone upsets them, or gets them, "bent outta shape!"
I also don't give a fuck, if my opinion makes you sick!
As for being referred to as simple minded; I'll go head to head with your intellect anytime, my friend and I won't be the one out of my depth!
Twisted and their fans have always gone against the grain and not given a shit, about what anyone else thinks, but that's not the same as standing up to some dickhead, with an attitude problem! Do you think Rock10 would have the balls to tell Dee to his face that he sucks; I highly doubt it!
Maybe your just having a bad day, but believe me there's far more important things to get worked up over!!
Regards,
Lorndog.

Gentlemen, gentlemen....

I didn't see a lot of real hostility (well, only on the other thread that spawned this one, but THAT one deserved it...) this seemed like a debate with some ribbing...so Jaysin, don't really know why this thread upset you so much. Your post was probably the harshest one on this thread.

From what I understand (and I could be wrong) but I don't think Dee reads the slamboard much. Jay Jay, MAM, sometimes Eddie and AJ as well as many of the crew...DO read the slamboard So while I'm not suggesting we sugar coat our commentary and feedback, I think there is a certain amount of respect due to them....this IS their website and their slamboard.

Jaysin-- I have written almost 50 road reports, and not all of them were brilliant shows---and I was honest about it without being mean or vicious. There are plenty of band websites out there that don't give their fans a chance to "voice off" and talk to one another--and how many times has Jay Jay personally responded to posts that we have made here?

It's perfectly okay to say you didn't like an album and say why.... but coming on the TS website and saying "That sucked" is just plain disrespectful, and I'm glad that some of the SMFs on here jumped in. Your comments on the solo projects were totally valid--I'm sorry that you feel like you can't voice those opinions here. I've said it many times--it's not what you say, it's how you say it.

But yanno....I'm with Lorndog. I don't go on the Motley Crue website and trash Vince Neil...

and for the record, I'm an SMF, not a groupie. I haven't sucked anyone's dick.

Armadillo and Lorndog, I rated Dee's solo albums, and I didn't say that they sucked. I just gave a number. I don't think his solo albums were good, especially compared to Twisted Sister's albums.

Agree That was my point--you didn't say anything bad- I thought you just voiced your opinion in a non-confrontational way---(someone else did say "it sucked" on a different thread, and I DID jump on him for it) Should have made that clearer--sorry.

I really enjoy hearing all Dee's solo albums. What I find amazing is the "attitude" in his vocals....ever changing.....you can feel the anger pour out of him in so many of the songs. I have my favorites but I really love them all. Hard for me to rate them. Even when I hear the live shows the emotion you hear in his onstage rants were NOT a show, it was truthfully what was going on in his life at the time. That is what I feel anyway....
I can't always express "simply" in words what I want to say.....it's more what I feel inside...etc...

Hey Cyndi
That is so true--
Have you read the book yet? Dee wrote that when he wrote LIFS, everything in his life was going really well....he lost his angry edge and wasn't coming from a place of raw emotion, which certainly explains the upbeat/pop feeling that LIFS has....and the angry, raw energy of his solo projects to follow.

Hi T,

Thanks....I got the book and cd in the mail Friday but didn't get to read the book as of yet. I did listen to the cd and love it! Dee's vocals give each song an "edge" that's for sure. One song {forgot which one} I cracked up as I yelled MORE COW BELL...LMAO....that was great! {made me think of a Saturday Night Live skit...haha}

I would like to add that even if I don't like an aspect of the boyzzz projects, I am a SMF...friend/fan 4life. I would never openly slam them. I will always be supportive no matter what. And if I do have something to say it would never be done in a malcious way, that is where constructive critism is welcome, being an adult comes in to play. Talking privately is different, then you can be more open to friends about how ya feel, I see no need then to do it publicly, what would be the goal other than making yourself look foolish.
