He says "Heart is a Lonely Hunter" is the best song he's ever written. I don't like it that much.

Thanks for posting the link. Can't wait to read the book and I'll be crossing my fingers for part 2.

Not sure I'd vote for "The Heart is the Lonely Hunter" as my favorite Dee Snider song of all-time but as a musician I can definitely respect someone's choice as we all pick different songs for different reasons. From Dee's standpoint, he chooses that song for his own reasons so that's cool. Maybe that one just hits the right emotions in him or something. I don't know. He's written others that have had a far greater impact on my life for one reason or another and that's why I like those songs better.

Either way, I'm really looking forward to the book. I'm sure it will be a great read!

He didn't say anything about the new dvd releases in the interview either, except he compared it to Tupac's releases after his death.

Wow!!!....typical Dee...(and this is why I like the guy...)

Brutally honest...pulls NO punches....self aware and self critical to a sharp fine point...

No...I cant wait for the book either...

Disappointed that Dee said that there will be no new Twisted Sister album. He seemed very sure and final about that! And those 150-200 songs he has, I would love to hear some of those. I like the Desperado album, and thought Widowmaker made a great job of some of those songs, Blood and Bullets is one of my favourite Dee albums. Surprised he said that a new album wouldn't be financially viable! There are a great many fans that would buy a new Twisted album that haven't bough some of the projects he has been involved with over the past decade!

I'd buy a book from Jay Jay. Always nice to hear the other side of a story. I'd love to hear more about the business side of the band and music industry. I remember going to local clubs in the NY area where there would be two guys with clickers, counting how many people entered the club, I'm sure that second guy represented TS. I don't remember seeing a second person checking attendance for other bands. I'm sure stories of getting money from club owners will make a great read. Hearing from Mr French will be very entertaining and interesting.
