Oh my god...I enjoyed that much more than I thought I would!

First...seeing photos of Dee with his kids (the early photos) are just the best! I adore Dee...I adore his family...I think the world of Suzette... and now I have even more respect for Dee, his family and his wife. Getting a little peak into Dee's life was just awesome. Seeing the Snider family trying to do crochet was priceless!

Momma used to say, if you can't say anything nice about someone, don't say anything at all. What do I think of Flavor Flav?

.... ..... well.....

yeah.

I wish Suzette had torn his head off and gone bowling with it.

I just happened to come across it, forgot it was on, and caught it all! enjoyed it alot as well...... that would have been great if Suzette had torn flav's head off and gone bowling with it!!! He was so disrespectful for sure!

I worked with Flavor Flav right around the time we did Twisted Forever and what you see is what you get. Dude has a heart of gold, but is scattered , selfish, and not able to follow rules. Dee as always proved what a class act he is!

Boy was that apparent! He wasn't mean spirited.....just really self-centered and I swear, he was like a big child!

Everybody at work today was telling me they watched....and thought that Dee and his family were just the coolest!

I missed it. Does anyone know if they will be re-showing it or if it's posting online somewhere?

Thanks Terry! I usually hate shows like this but Dee and Suzette just proved the kind of classy people that they are. Dee's a lucky man to have Suzette for his wife. She's awesome. I loved how she stood up for herself and told Flavor Flav what she thought of him. That guy has some serious growing up to do.

And the whole Snider family is an inspiration. Great people.

Wow, watched the show and the Snider family is really cool!
Suzette is incredible and looks beautiful. She is the best, she rocks!!!

Flav, I have absolutely nothing positive to write about him. I felt sorry for Suzette having to cope with him. She was great though and showed how much class she has by not getting down to his level. Big respect for Suzette here!!

Awesome family!!!

I don't see what was so fun about that show. Replace Dee and his crew with a different family and who here woulda watched more than 5 minutes and thought it was any good? Pretty boring to say the least. Wife Swap just blows in general.

This show was so much fun to watch! Flav and his wife didn't stand a chance to the likes of Dee and Suzette!!!!!! Powerhouses the both of them! RESPECT! They rocked the show! Hopefully the recording went smoothly, I didn't do it myself but had a little help from an SMF! I shall let you know. I did see the link posted, that was great T, thanks!

Hi Jaysin--
I actually HATE Wife Swap...I don't watch it. I watched for the same reason everyone else here did. You asked "what was so fun?" so I'm going to give you a serious answer...this is what was fun about it for me.
First, I loved seeing the still shots of Dee with his kids. There aren't a lot of those photos out there, and I really love to see photos of Dee (and anyone in the band, for that matter) in the days of their youth....esp when Dee is with his kids. It is special to me to see him with his family--no pretenses--just Dee with the kids. Love it.

Next....I love to see Dee and family just being themselves. His sons are absolutely hilarious--believe me, Cody knows the difference between a skillet and a colander. I can't be the only one that thought that was funny....and then of course, seeing them all sitting around being good sports and crocheting. I could NOT stop laughing. To see Dee on his chopper going out for a burger? well, I love that boring mundane stuff. Yes I do.
What I do not enjoy is watching people get upset-- watching Suzette have to deal with Flavor Flav, seeing how rude he was to her, seeing Suzette get pissed off....cry...I found that very hard to watch.

I really hate The Apprentice...but you can bet I'm going to watch every single episode if Dee is on it. I bought "Cities" because AJ drummed on it. I donate to charities that the band members support because it has a personal connection to them. If Mark opened up a sandwich shop, I'd be eating a lot more sandwiches.

Most people aren't watching Wife Swap because it deserves an Emmy. They watch because they enjoy seeing their favorite celebrities.

Now Apprentice is one of the only shows I watch. That and Kitchen Nightmares, so I know going in I already like it. So regardless of Dee, I'm lookin forward to this season.

I agree that with Celebrity Wife Swap much of the audience changes constantly as different fans tune in to see their faves. Hey I did. I just didn't find entertaining for a minute. I remember at the 2nd commercial break I for some reason thought, or was hoping it was the 3rd break. But another half hour wasn't sitting well with me. Dee getting on his chopper does nothing for me. Seen it before, and it's no big deal.

As far as footage of Dee and his family goes, I know you haven't forgotten about "Growing Up Twisted". That was far more entertaining than this ball of crap. Kids holding hoses and crochet needles. You honestly think the skillet comment was funny? I guarantee if someone like Kim Kardashian made the same comment we'd be calling her a big fuckin dummy and that it was sad and not funny that she doesn't know the difference.

I feel like so many people here would watch Dee sleeping in a rocking chair if it was on TV and think it was great. I dunno know why but it seems that way.

Regardless of our differences on this, we love Twisted and it will forever keep us connected. My favorite song could be your least favorite and vice versa. It's all good. If everyone agrees someone's not thinking! Happy New Year, by the way, Terry!

Hey Jaysin

I absolutely loved "Growing Up Twisted" and sure we've all seen Dee on his bike a bazillion times....yanno, I've seen Jay Jay stroll into a hotel with a guitar slung over his shoulder like a heavy metal cowboy about a zillion times...but for some reason, that just never gets old to me either! Just can't get enough Twisted. Hey, I just love these guys. I really do. Seeing them just makes me feel....well....HAPPY!

I thought the skillet was HILARIOUS...and I am quite certain that Cody knows the difference, he was just screwing with her. In contrast, I would argue that Kim Kardashian does NOT know the difference between a skillet and colander. The Snider family crocheting? Just the concept of it is funny. No, I wouldn't want to watch them crocheting for hours on end--I wouldn't want to wear whatever they were making, either.... but if you said to me, Hey T! Want to spend a day at the Snider house sitting poolside, crocheting and bullshitting? Hell yeah! Wait right there..I'll go grab my crochet needles....

It's all Twisted...it's all good.

Happy to you as well J-man! Missed you at the Christmas shows this year!
