Like most of you, I purchased my copy of a Twisted Christmas back in 2006, every xmas since then I have dusted it off and seem to enjoy it more and more as each year passes. It comes out of the cabinet in mid-December and goes back at the start of January every year, not to be played again until mid December. My favourite tracks?...Silver Bells (with the Animals fabulous solo at the end) I sam Mommy kissin Santa Claus, White Xmas and Ill be Home for Xmas.

My question to all my fellow SMFs is.. do you have a similar routine? and your favourite tracks?

Hope you all are having a great Xmas..

I start playing it in early December in my car, on the ride to the train station.
I put the Twisted CD and other Christmas songs on my iPod and play it on the whole house system on weekends, at night and at our Christmas party. I also play the TS CD when i put the tree together and put the lights on the tree. I always buy a few copies each year to hand out to friends, family and visitors who don't have a copy, always makes a nice gift

Although it tends to get heaviest airplay in December in our household - I have to admit to dusting it off on occasion throughout the year as well. Absolutely agree with "Silver Bells" being a favorite and would add "Let it Snow" to that as well.

Just thinking about George mentioning the car - I had an accident in my car a few years ago and "A Twisted Christmas" was playing (Deck the Halls I think). I have now got into a bit of a ritual whereby whenever I get a new car - it's the first CD I play (bit weird I know but I think it's my way of saying to the car - here's the sounds I'll be playing ................ get used to it!!) ;) ;)

Nope! I don't. Back in '06 I... uhm... it, listened to it once and ignored it ever since. I fucking hate christmas albums.

I love my Twisted Christmas CD--I play it every year when I'm getting the house ready to have guests over....makes great cleaning music....

Silver Bells is one my faves....ironic, because it's one of the carols I hate the most...but Mark's bass solo is smokin'
and I really dig "Let it Snow" I was always bummed that it was the only Twisted track that never made it onto the set lists. I could have sacrificed "I Saw Mommy..." for that one.

The only other heavy metal Christmas song that I really dig is Joan Jett's "Little Drummer Boy". Twisted Christmas really is the best hard rock/heavy metal Christmas album ever--I was one of the nay-sayers, and now I absolutely love it. I only play it around the holidays, but it just makes me smile every time!

I usually pull it out the day after Thanksgiving. That when we usually put the tree up in our house so out comes the Christmas CD's to listen to while we put the tree up. My wife always rolls her eyes when I pull it out and crank it up with such glee. LOL!!! The kids love it, though!
