I listened to twisted sister years ago but never made to a gig. My friend Omar called me up one night and told me about the gig. We arived around 7pm and got tickets. Hanio Rocks were very loud and a band i have heard of but never heard, the banded rocked and were very entertaining will be checking them out soon. Twisted Sister hit the stage just after 9pm and i havent had a night like that in years it rocked. Dee Snider is a great front man and had the audience shouting and singing louder than i have heard any audience at this venue. The band were well rehearsed and played and performed to all expectaions. Its a pity i left it so long to go and see the band live. i was very impressed and bought the cd of the best of as my old vinyl records went to charity shop, i will now buy them back on cd. A no.1 a+ concert.

I am just back from the Glasgow gig aswell. What a night. Loved the fact that Dee talked about playin in Edinburgh on the come out and play tour. ( I was there) What a fun night. My ears are still ringing. Only song I thought they would have played but never was SMF. It was ages untill the house lights came up and I thought they were going to come back on but sadly no.

there was a guy up in the balcony with a spotlight gesturing for one more song but the security boys had opened the doors and seemed to have decided that the show was over??

Fantastic show no matter what!

Have posted photos on gallery for those that couldn't be there

I've only just recovered from this show, hence the delay in posting here.

I'd just like to say a HUGE Thanx to Twisted Sister for hearing our plea & coming back to Glasgow to kick our asses once more!!! It was truly a privilege & an honor to see you guys perform live again after the sheer wasteground you left at the SECC for Alice Cooper to battle through last year. It was made all the more special by the fact this was a Headlining return trip where you rightfully belong! I feel very lucky to have seen you guys 4 times now, when there was a time I thought I'd never see you play at all. It really means a lot to us fans who never got the chance to see you back in the day. As far as I'm concerned, comparing your current show to old videos - you guys are still laying down the fucking law... and no mistake!!! I know there will be a day when this dreamlike reunion all comes to an end, but I hope you know you'll be welcomed back in Glasgow anytime, before you finally decide to throw in the towel...

It really made my life to finally get the chance to meet you all as well. It's cool to know that (just like His Royal Neon-Knightedness, Sir. Ronnie James Dio), when you guys have time from your hectic schedule, you make an extreme effort to keep in touch with your fans. You're a true credit to your profession!

For Those About To (& have) Rock(ed)... Glasgow Salute You!!!

Got to agree with everything on here. It's taken me a couple of days to get back online, but I had to write to thank the band for the best rock'n'roll night I've had in years. Hats off to Hanoi Rocks, solid support and a storming version of 'Up Around the Bend' to finish. However, that paled into insignificance compared to the might of TS. From the first chord of 'What you don't know...' through to 'I am I'm me' I felt I was being transported back 20 years. Here are five guys that really know how to rock and can still blow most (perhaps all) other bands in the world off a stage. Can't say enough about the quality of showmanship, choice of songs, rapport with the crowd. One of those great nights where you felt the band and the crowd were really feeding off each other.

Fantastic gig from one of the greatest live bands ever. Come back soon.

I have to say that I really enjoyed the gig on Glasgow, it was GREAT. A few weeks ago I was browsing the internet when I ended up somehow in the Twisted Sister website and I realized that they were going to play in Glasgow - It was a great opportunity to see them because I have never seen them before. And for me it was very cool because Twisted Sister was my very first exposure to Heavy Metal when I was a kid. Those videos on MTV were the talk of the entire school back in the days when I lived in Tijuana...
Anyway, the Gig was great and the sound was great too.
