I have to say, I'm so happy I picked up the re-issues of Under the Blade, You Can't Stop Rock n Roll & Come Out & Play. I was always a little disspointed of the sound copy on the versions I previously had which included a Japanese import of Under the Blade and a pre- Spitfire release of Come out and play. These new ones are very good and are a world of difference. So great job Armoury records!

On the other hand I've found the quality of my Spitfire Love is for Suckers & Club Daze to be okay and certainly they have never bothered me as mubh. That said, I just wanted to check if anyone has compared those with these new re-issues. Certainly if there is a significant improvement, I'll plan to order those re-issues as well. Anyone make the comparison?

The new Under the Blade is night and day better than the version I previously had and the same goes for You Can't Stop R & R as well as Come Out & Play.

I was just wondering if anyone had picked up the Club Daze 1 re-issue and/or Love is For Suckers from Armoury and if they were also dramatically improved? I'm happy with the versions I have, but thought someone here may have made the comparison.

I think what we need is a straight forward answer on which Armory CDs are "Re-Mastered" for 2011, and which are just "Re-Issued".

Under The Blade (82): Re-Mastered (2011)
You Can't Stop Rock N' Roll: Re-Mastered (2011)
Stay Hungry: (Not on Armory Catalog but Re-Mastered in 2009 via Rhino/Atlantic.)
Under The Blade (85): ?
Come Out And Play: Re-Mastered (2011)
Love Is For Suckers: Re-Mastered (2011)
Club Daze Vol. 1: ?
Still Hungry: ?
Live At Wacken: ? (Re-Packaged with a DVD Case and Bonus CD)

I,ve got that many different versions of all these albums and dvds that you just lose track of what is re-mastered and what isn't!?

I have a virgin label version of Under The Blade which I bought in the HMV sale in 1992 for £5 which was bloody cheap for a cd back then.

It's been played loads of times and in terms of sound quality it's just down to personal preference.

Incidentally these version als has leader of the pack on it but it is not listed as a bonus track.

Well, Under the Blade (85) was re-issued with Spitfire isn´t it? and these are the same records in 2011 Under The Blade?, if that so, 2011 is all about dvd and ruff cuts..... I was wondering if spitfire Under The Blade was improved....
And..... how about Come Out And Play? As far as I know, TS wasn´t conformed with the sound in that era, so, how about a new record, like Still Hungry......?
