I got a totally different e-mail to everybody else..........
Thanks for entering the competition to win tickets for the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards 2011!
Before selecting the winners, we need to confirm that you would definitely be able to attend if you receive tickets. The Awards take place on Monday 13th June, at the Indigo2 in the O2 complex, North Greenwich, London. Doors open at 6pm. Also remember that Twisted Sister is only playing a short, 25 minute set – but it will be a night to remember!
To be considered for tickets, please RVSP to this email address by midday GMT on Friday 27th June. Please think carefully about whether you’ll be able to attend; there are lots of fans that are also hoping to receive tickets.

Not sure it was purely on you distance from London as Richard got a ticket in Newcastle (unless he gave his brother's address in London!!). Anyway - looks like the slamboard will have a good representation at the gig - I'm starting to think I need to finish work a lot ealier then I initially planned in order to allow time to meet up before hand. You going to Donny Paul - see you there or at London.

I will keep you posted how I get on as i've not ordered my Download ticket yet but once I've finished arguing with Mrs Dee I'll be going and I should see you there.

Yeah, Christmas in my house today also, same two bits of post (however I can't get to watch DVD until tomorrow).
Did you read the letter that came with the tickets - the bit encouraging everybody to wear fancy dress - Zombie theme. Now here's a thought - we have Twisted, we have Alice and we have 2,000 Zombies - Be Crool To Your Scuel anybody!!! |

Considering that the tickets are free surely ALL the real fans, namely regular UK slamboarders should get to see the band!
