Elite SMF Posts: 214 Location: Da Bronx | Yes, amazing performance. Got back from David Johansen and watched it - seems like all the best bands started in the 70's - Twisted Sister,The Dolls, Kix, Ian Hunter- and of all of them, TS is my favorite. Incomparable. Can't wait for Friday. I'm so excited about this show. TS rules!

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 2072 | Great performance last night on Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy seems to really be a big fan, he did a nice job of talking up the band at the start of the show, and the regards at the end of the show seem genuine along with his mention of the Pinkburst project. I saw the big guy with the TS shirt on. I can't belive me and my friends didn't get selected to sit in the band section, that was a big disappointment Looking forward to Friday night. Sounds like my group is going to try and leave work early and catch up with the other SMF's before the show.

Location: Rocking In The Florida Dark ! | I asked my girlfriend down here to watch this because This is a band I grew up with for years and years, Traveled all over the tri state area as a kid, whom is such a class act they are still my favorite band today. That says alot, But at the same time, sitting there watching it, looking at it from her perspective, I realized This band is a lot different than it used to be, in some ways you allmost wouldnt recognize it as the same band. I told it to her like this, Mark and AJ certainly look a lot different, JJ used to basically play most of the leads, (GO Eddie by the way -- WOW is Eddie a great guitar player!) and DEE would have apperaed to have more energy as far as jumping around and getting really into it. I still would recomend this band to anyone, this is a really good classic rock act that is really hard to beat. In a live full show today Id put money on the fact it would be a great show that would remind you alot of the old days. I tried to tell her whom had never seen the band before, This band has had more creations of just amazing rock and tallent not to mention a great live production, you cant show all that in a one song performance over a TV set. I kind of wish Jimmy had given them more time to speak of the great causes they are promoting as well Hopefully not to be taken the wrong way -- Bottom line, To me this show is a cant miss for a great time and a trully great Rockin Night. This is trully one of the best Rock acts of all time !

SMF 1st Class Posts: 20 Location: Los Angeles | Since retiring the make-up was curious why the entire band doesnt adopt the full on denim look 100% just to be a bit more "uniform"? Glad anytime TS is on TV. Always entertaining.
