Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | Here are my predictions: Not my wishlist...just my predictions.... Opener: What You Don't Know We get all the usual hits--I Wanna Rock, WNGTI, UTB, YCSRNR, The Price, SMF and Burn In Hell That's 8. Full setlist--I'm betting we get around 12 to 14 songs, so here's my picks: Captain Howdy Come Out and Play (betting an encore) Destroyer The Beast I believe in Rock N' Roll Maybe we'll get a Tribute song-- to Y&T or to DIO My WISH LIST/Fantasy Setlist ...Oh hell.. Bad Boys of Rock N Roll I'll Never Grow Up, Now I Am, I'm Me (my personal fave) Four Barrel Heart of Love Like A Knife In the Back Plastic Money Prime Motivator Rock N' Roll Saviors Some Covers....Don't care which ones....AC/DC, Priest, Motorhead....just love it when they do covers!

They never play both "Destroyer" and "The Beast" in one set. It's always one or the other. I prefer "Destroyer" personally. Other than that, your predictions are probably pretty close to on the money. They might throw "Shoot 'Em Down" in there as well. But if by some miracle they do play "Like A Knife in the Back", they have to follow it up with "Ride to Live, Live to Ride". It's criminal when those songs are played together. They might as well be one long song! They have to be played back to back!!! LOL!!! Wish lists? I'll narrow it down. LOL! Come Back Sin After Sin Run for Your Life Power and the Glory We're Gonna Make It Feel The Power Kill or be Killed I Believe in You King of the Fools Wake Up, The Sleeping Giant It's Only Rock and Roll (But I Like It) See you at the show Terry!!!! Yeah Terry? 12-14 songs? Ya think they keep it that short? But I did notice that during some of the recent set lists that the set was abbreviated. They used to play around 17 songs. Why do you think they are cutting it back so much?

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 446 | in the last tour in South America they played 16 song. In my opinion i don't want any cover song. I would like to hear: The Beast Like A Knife in The Back Ride To Live Live To ride i hope they will open with what you don't know (sure can hurt you) and i hope they will play come out and play... I remember when they opened for Scorpions in Quebec city at the end of the show i was scremaing COME OUT AND PLAY!... already know they have to leave...

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 2072 | I agree with the prediction and wish list, I'm just happy they are playing so close to home. Just play guys, just keep playing. Good interview on Q104.3 with Jay Jay and Dee promoting the show and Jay jay did a nice job of detailing the charity. www.q104.3.com and see a picture and catch Dee singing happy birthday to one of the dj's

But I did notice that during some of the recent set lists that the set was abbreviated. They used to play around 17 songs. Why do you think they are cutting it back so much? Lately it hasn't been the band--it's been the venue that cuts the sets. I predict a "full set" in terms of time, but I predict "envelope to the head"... that we'll see fewer songs because of the "special guests" and lots of between song banter. I mean, this IS a charity benefit, so I expect there will be lots of information/education from Jay Jay about the reason why we are all there in the first place--Uveitis Research! When the Nokia ran the theatre, they were very punctual. I hope that Best Buy keeps that practice going. Edited to add: South America aside-- Vancouver, Oklahoma and Kansas were all shortened sets. Road Reporter Posts: 1729 Location: Baltimore, MD | dammit, Chris.... you made me go back and look at all the previous road reports (I don't have any saved before the slamboard transition) so the early road reports are all lost.... but you are correct. I can't find any instead of Destroyer and The Beast in the same set list. I prefer Destroyer too---btw. I think my chances of hearing some of those oldies are slim to none but it's fun to dream. I have to be honest (and this is JUST ME) I have heard Stay Hungry played cover to cover so many times that I am hungry for anything that is NOT on the Stay Hungry album.....I know, I know...this is blasphemy, but if they didn't play "I Wanna Rock" and "We're Not Gonna Take It" I'd be okay with that if it meant we had older cuts played. (I'd even sacrifice hearing UTB!) I understand that those of you who haven't had a lot of TS shows (like Brasil) would not want to hear covers, but to me, TS playing covers goes back to their roots. It gives "youngsters" (hey, 40's is still young!) like me a glimpse of the real club days. I've heard them do covers at Bent Brother shows, and Dee does an impressive job on Judas Priest. I love hearing the covers--they are special--sometimes one-time performances that are rare. I also really enjoy hearing how the rest of the band interprets the music--Eddie and Jay did an incredible version of Long Live Rock and Roll. No matter how you slice it, it's gonna be tremendous fun, great times, kick ass music and it's all for an important cause. see you at the Best Buy, my babies.... don't step on the Armadillo!

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 717 Location: Chicago | LOL!!! Sorry to make you go back to the archives Terry! I'm with you 100% on the covers. I thinks is cool with them bring out a cover because it's something different and it does kind of go back to their roots. It's always special when they do something different. I'm also with you hearing "Stay Hungry" but "UTB" still never gets old for me. I'm crossing my fingers for the 30th anniversary tour of "YCSRNR" where they play that entire album from front to back! It's coming up soon so I'm just throwing it out there as a suggestion if Jay Jay is listening! LOL! Now if the boys did that, I could die happy! (One can always dream anyway!)

Full-On SMF Posts: 96 | I would love to hear the older stuff, But it doesn't matter what they play since I haven't seen TS since May 14, 1985, opening for Iron Maiden at Long Beach Arena. The famous Maiden shows that became the album Live After Death. TS opened all 4 sold out shows. I received that concert ticket as a birthday present....on April 29th!!! I was 15 then. Now I get to see them ON my birthday!!! ROCK ON! SMF FOR LIFE!
