And Amex presales are known for charging additional service charges for their premium privilege - though that may be limited to Front of the Line presales, not sure. What's even better, if you can make arrangements for somebody in NY to get to the theatre box office and purchase the tickets in person for you, then you don't have to pay any of the Ticketmaster SC (or at least not as much...I can't remember if their box office is without service charge completely). TM charges tend to be a good $10 per ticket.

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 891 Location: Dream Street | Yeah I'm willing to bet there will be tickets available the day of the show too. So no need to rush. I remember last time they played they even did something like a half off thing as it got closer to the show. But maybe that act of giving back was because it was Xmas.

Either way should be a great turn out and can't wait to be back in NYC and see all you guys! If anyone makes their way over to the box office and wouldn't mind grabbing me a floor ticket, I'll hit ya back pronto.

Show then Auction This will ACTUALLY be a plane, train, bus and car.... check this one out, George: I'm planning to: Drive to Baltimore transit depot. Take a bus to NYC. See the show. THEN...take a train to Boston....Metro ride to the Pinkburst auction....then a Plane ticket from Boston to Baltimore....then a lightrail ride back to the depot..and drive home! I will have managed to take every mode of transportation in one road trip! how cool is that????

Well, I always found it to be one of the most relaxing commutes, anyway. And on the SI ferry you could get food and, after a rough day as many are, the cheapest price on beer in the city. All this means is we have to find a way to get you on a ferry during this trip! Safe travels! Best, CG

Hey Lucasland...before you buy your bus ticket....check out the Megabus. They often run specials for bus time slots that are "unpopular"--you can get one way as low as $5 from Hartford to NYC. I once did round-trip from Baltimore for $16 (the tolls alone would have been double that if I drove myself) And for folks in Boston Philly and DC...in addition to the Megabus, the Bolt Bus also runs promotions...bus trips for $1
