thanx to armadillo on another thread i thought of a new thread.

whos on everybodys "bucket list" of bands you HAVE to see.i'm only 21 and really have seen almost all MY FAV bands.KISS(all time fav band),BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN,MOTLEY CRUE, JUDAS PRIEST, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, TWISTED SISTER,SLIPKNOT, MEAT LOAF,SEBASTIAN BACH, THE LIST GOES ON. But the bands i need to see its hard for me to choose I'll go for the top 10 bands i need 2 see in no particular order,only problem is one of my top 5 is dead so i'm gonna never see one of them(now for a very eclectic bunch)

1.Harry Chapin
2.Slayer
3. Mayhem
4.Bob Dylan(prob gonna be disapointed)
5.Jimmy Buffet
6. Paul McCartney
7. King Diamond
8.Rob Zombie
9. Neil Young
10. Lamb Of God

cant wait to see what all of you have to say and i may get shit for my choice of bands i love, esp for my love of KISS (hope Jay Jay dont read the threads)

i am only going to name artists who still tour on a regular basis. if i name a band like cream or the grateful dead it would be a waste since they aren't really together anymore.

1 crosby,stills and nash
2 bruce springsteen
3 peter gabriel
4 jeff beck
5 eric clapton
6 prince
7 mr big
8 iron maiden
9 guns n roses
10 fleetwood mac/lindsey buckingham

Hello.
I´m 38 and I´m from Venezuela. I have to admit, the last 4 years were amazing here, we could see bands like DIO (RIP, we love you James), Metallica, Kiss, Megadeth (twice), Testament, Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, Exodus, Kreator, Aerosmith, Gammaray, Tankard (on december), Rhapsody Of Fire (december too), Collective Soul, Yes, Bon Jovi, Sodom, Agnostic Front, Helloween, Stratovarius, Anthrax, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Symphony X, Sonata Artica...... among others.
But, I'd like to see:

* TWISTED "FUCKING" SISTER (PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE)
* Judas Priest
* Motley Crue
* AC/DC
* Alice Cooper
* Edguy
* Grave Digger
* Overkill
* Primal Fear
* W.A.S.P

Is that too much?

I've seen everyone that I really want to see except for the Eagles. Their ticket prices have been crazy the last few tours.

Well to me Rockin hard is never to much -- Well you know. To me its a gift when you can experiance the really great bands ( such as ours) -- And yea -- I miss the days when you could see a great rock act at a bar ( CLUB) for two or four bucks! Well big production acts arent cheep to even do -Right? so I guess it was inevitable.

Now don't laugh.......another of my fav 80's bands....MR. BIG!!!! I've met Eric Martin twice fronting a band called "ScrapMetal" in CT. Since they reunited {all original members} and are touring mainly out of the country, I just learned that they will do 1 US date April 2, 2011 and I WILL BE THERE I SWEAR, God willing that is. All aboard..lol...

House of Blues - Sunset Strip
8430 West Sunset Boulevard
West Hollywood, CA 90069

And then second is G&R, but with all the original members. I know that ain't gonna happen since Axl still needs to put his big boy panties on....hehe....

I am planning on going to the Mr. Big show myself. Y&T plays the night before not too far away so I am going to make it a double header!

Right now, W.A.S.P. is probably the one band I haven't seen that I REALLY want to see. Whitesnake would be the other one.

Cyndi Lauper and KISS.
I've liked Cyndi for 25 years, but she never performed in Gothenburg.
Kiss has been here, but I just discovered them recently, and am dying to see them live. Kissology is what I wish Twisted Sisiter would release...

Pretty neat you are going too. Hope we get to meet up there. I booked my trip and will be in LA for 7 days...first time for everything...WOO WOO I can't wait.... WASP kicked azz, great show. Blackie is a lot like Axl Rose, same GOD LIKE mentality but great frontman.

For me the number one band I would love to see is ANVIL, they're the best band not to make it big.
Here are some others:
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Slayer
Molly Hatchet
Guns and Roses, traffic delay caused me to miss them at 88 Donnington
