| Hey! I'm heading to the show in Glasgow in June 5, and was wondering whether anyone else was going or had any ideas about where to stay that night. I know absolutely NOTHING about that city - I'm originally from NY (where we're spoiled by an amazing # of TS shows! yeah Poughkeepsie!) and spending this semester abroad in the UK.
Also - if anyone wants to meet up there, let me know here or pm me! Thanks!

| Great! I'm getting there on the 5th and leaving on the 6th (going to Sweden Rock on the 7th!!!) - but it would be stellar to meet up at the show. I'll probably be in a Metal Sludge t-shirt. Do you know where you're staying?
WTF with not mailing tickets outside of the UK? Worse case, just pm me and I'll send you my address here - you can have them mail it to me and then I'll bring it over. |

Location: Austria | Okay, I'm all set! I found a site that mails tickets to abroad... and I could bypass Ticketmaster, which is a added bonus! I will be staying at the Euro Hostel, only about 500 metres away from the venue!
It would be cool to meet up! I will get to Glasgow at around noon! I probably will wear a Twisted Sister t-shirt... duh! ;-) |

Location: USA | im going to glasgow, manchester, and wolverhampton, then finland. all in one week. im taking planes between a few shows and maybe the trains for some others. the hostel looks ok, i was not putting it down. looks nice and cheap. saving a few pounds will be nice. stay sick joe rock |

| Patrick - that hostel looks perfect, good location & it actually fits in with my student budget. The exchange rate here has been kicking my ass. I'll be getting to Glasgow around 10am, and I'll probably just wander around all day, so we should definitely be able to meet up before the show (maybe follow in our fellow uk-visiting smfs' footsteps and find a decent pub  )
Joe - all 5 shows in that week? I am so jealous! That will be phenomenal!

Yeah, I guess I will also wonder around and then get to the venue at around 4! I want to get to the front! Maybe we can meet up earlier! Yeah, I can imagine the exchange rate being a drag, coming from the US! For us it's the other way round... it's cheap to go on holidays to the states these days... a couple of years ago it just was the other way round!

I am going to the Glasgow show. Good pub to check out before the gig is The Solid Rock on Hope St which is behind central station. A lot of people going to the gig will be in there before hand.
