Three TS songs that I LOVE, and I feel would've been GREAT singles and videos are from the "Love Is for Suckers" album. One being the title track, and the other two are "I Want This Night (To Last Forever)" and "You Are All That I Need". The latter is my favorite track from that whole album. Whoever thought Dee could write something so romantic? That would be a great wedding theme!

I agree, I also think "Wake Up" could have been a single as well. As far as COAP goes, if it was me chosing the singles from that CD, I would have chosen "The Fire Still Burns", "Out On The Streets", and the title track instead of LOTP and BCTYS.

So in other words...every song they ever wrote. Sure, why the hell not.....But I'm thinkin "Burn In Hell" and "Shoot'em Down"

K9...dude....("If That's What You Want") that tune sucks, bro!!! Sorry, Dee...but no wonder is wasn't on the original LP.

I also happen to like If That's What You Want. As a matter of fact, I don't think that *any* Twisted Sister song sucks. In the vinyl age there wouldn't be room for more than 10 songs on the album. 4 songs had to be left out. Also, Dee said in an interview that the record company wouldn't pay for more than 10 songs for an album so TS kept putting out 10-song max. albums.

*shakes head* Jaysin, Jaysin, Jaysin...It's alright if you think that song sucks, but I really can't agree. I love that song, I always have.

IMO I don't think any Twisted song sucks.

Didn't COAP have 11? Right? "King of the Fools" was considered a bonus track.

And come on..."I'm So Hot For You" or "I Will Win" good songs? No offense, but when someone likes every song by them something just doesn't seem right. Maybe it's the sound of his voice....but he didn't even write as much on that album as he did on the previous ones. Am I thinking correctly? From what I recall there were a lot of collaborations. But When Desperado and Widowmaker came out...he picked it up it up again with some great tunes....I especially like the collboration with Al Pitrelli.

I'm also not crazy for Day of the Rocker...never a desire to hear it. I think the last 10 times I did were at the end of their concerts.

So I like every Twisted Sister song, what wrong with that. Same can be said with Skid Row for me. There is nothing wrong with that? There is nothing wrong with disliking a couple of songs either. For me, Bon Jovi is one of my all time favorite bands, but I hate 3 of their songs.

The standard vinyl LP of COAP didn't have King Of The Fools (it's a bonus track on CD, cassette and picture disc LP). Of course I like some songs more than the others but I can't say that any TS song has ever made feel shameful for listening to them. The only thing that I'm not 100% happy with is Still Hungry with the exception of the bonus tracks. It would have been better to do a live record with all the songs from Stay Hungry in the same running order OR remix the original Stay Hungry album.

Love Is For Suckers was meant to be a Dee Snider solo album, hence the writing collaborations, the style of the music, the ghost players and song topics that he never wrote about before.

Oh I see...Vinyl. Really? that's why just 10 songs? I never knew that.

And Hell no!! No shame ever! But holy cow...I think there would 100,000 songs I'd listen to before "I Will Win" or one of those pitiful tracks.

K9..nothing's wrong with it, dude. But it's like any other band. i.e....I feel like the die hard Michael Jackson fans will love whatever he releases. Banjo playing, bag pipes, boys choir.....anything....and evidently they have shown just that. It's just harder to respect that kind of fan who will seem to automatically love something before they hear it. Know what I'm saying?

I adore Savatage. Holy shit do I love this friggin band. But when Poets and Madmen came out...I was less than thrilled and as a result have no desire to hear at least 4 songs off that album. They're just lame as hell. I don't feel like I'm rejecting them. I can just accept there are going to be those occosainal songs that suck.

Speaking of Michael Jackson.....I can easily name 20 of his songs that blow away "If That's What You Want"...not even a contest actually. His great songs are pretty damn good...despite his ridiculous personal life...the guy is a hell of an artist, or at least was. But lost respect for him and his originality when he blatantly ripped off TS in the Black or White Video. Also those crotch grabs makes him look so stupid. But we can't take "Thriller" away from him.

Yeah, I don't automatticly like something before I hear it, it's just I haven't yet heard a TS or Skid Row song that I don't like.
