I am going to see Kid Rock on 3-18!!!!
why would a 46/ almost 47 year old woman go see Kid Rock?
because HE FUCKING ROCKS!!!!!
maybe I can get some of my poetry to him backstage and he can turn it into ROCK art and I will finally get my big break. I will have to take my beautiful daughter to get me backstage because I'm sure I wouldn't have much luck at this point. HEY! is that DEE singing back up on DOWN TO NEW ORLEANS on the ROCK AND ROLL JESUS cd? sure does sound like him!!!! I'm so excited!!! This is my birthday presnt to myself.

That's freakin' awesome, Star City!!! It doesn't matter how old you are, what matters is you're gonna go there and have a kick-ass time! My mum's 50 and she still goes to concerts like Vampires Rock here in the Uk and rocks out to Bat Out of Hell and (her favourite) We're Not Gonna Take It!
I'm not a huge fan of Kid Rock myself, but I think it's cool you're going. Remember; you're only as old as the woman you feel!
Have a great time!

I am so excited!
He has SO MANY SONGS.
I wonder which ones he will play?
guess who the opening acts are?
Dickie Betts and Reverend Run.
quite a diverse group of people will be there I guess.

I saw him once before way back in ..........2002? maybe
I loved it. he does so many different things.
my husband likes folk, almost country stuff now.
I guess he'll like Dickie Betts.
but he's being a good sport about it and going with me.

Good for you! I admit I love that REBEL! haha...It's rare that I like this type of music, but he has come so far from that punk-azz, angry kid. He is PIMP KID now! I have his new CD Rock-N-Roll Jesus and it rocks! I also like his Southern Rock CD self titled "Kid Rock" and he does an awesome cover song re-make "Feel Like Makin' Love" {Bad Company} the video >>>

I was feeling kind of old because I am turning 47 next week. when we got there, I was glad to see that there were LOTS of people our age there. some groups had 3 generations. really a mix of all different kinds of people. it was not only one of the best shows- it was one of the best nights of my entire life! we had great seats-sort of in a tower right over him on his lighted cross. there was no opening band. he did it all. Dickie Betts and Rev Run performed with him. He played for about 3.5 hours, taking a 15 minute break in the middle. I know why they call it a revival tour! I feel SAVED, REDEEMED, REJUVENATED!!!! He even busted into "This little light of mine" at the end. KID ROCK is awesome! he is truly a one of a kind performer. I LOVE HIM!!!!

I'm really pleased to hear you enjoyed the show!!! Kick-ass! A 3.5hr set with only a 15min break-wow that's awesome. He was obviously enjoying playing to the fans a lot...which is a good thing. Will you go see him again? (Silly question really.)

yes I'll go see him again.
I wanted it to last all night.
I never wanted it to end.
it was so beautiful and perfect and pure!
we went to Waffle House after the show and then came home and got wild.
people all over Roanoke got lucky Tuesday night.
