TWISTED SISTER guitarist Eddie Ojeda has scheduled a record-release party for his new solo CD, "Axes 2 Axes", on Sunday, April 9 at The Cutting Room (19 W. 24th Street) in New York City between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. The album features guest appearances by such acclaimed hard rock/heavy metal vocalists as Ronnie James Dio (DIO, RAINBOW, BLACK SABBATH), Dee Snider (TWISTED SISTER), and Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN). Rudy Sarzo (QUIET RIOT, WHITESNAKE, DIO, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) plays bass on two tracks, with Chris McCarvill handling the rest. Drummer Joe Franco (TWISTED SISTER, VINNIE MOORE, JACK BRUCE) plays on the entire record. The cover artwork for "Axes 2 Axes" was conceived by German artist Timo Wuerz.

As previously reported, Ojeda is featured in an instructional DVD from Music Star Productions, entitled "Eddie Ojeda Twisted Method". Eddie gives TWISTED fans throughout the world up close and personal lessons into his rockin' riffs and blazing solos! Learn rock anthems such as "I Wanna Rock" and "We're not Gonna Take It" as well as TWISTED classics "The Price" and "The Fire Still Burns". Eddie also gives tips and offers candid insight into his gear, influences and TWISTED beginnings.

Does anyone know if Eddie is going to play that night? Who will be in his band? Is the 7 - 11PM time solid?

I could be wrong, though - we might have to wait for Mr. Stanton to log on and fill us in.

I'd assume that since it's billed as a 'listening party,' we'll all be listening to the CD.

And 7 to 11 is the time on the invite, which I posted here yesterday.

since lol is probably VOiD you can't expect him to actually read before he posts? or read at all for that matter. I'd like to go but Sundays are usually family day and the wife has been tightening the screws lately. I actually signed a band to the label I work for and they are playing Long Island tomorrow and the wife has so far said no to me going. Combination of me not being home last weekend and telling her yesterday I'll be on road for 7 days straight in May. I've never been away from her or my daughter that long. But maybe I will have to stretch the truth and tell her my boss is flying in from Cali and I HAVE to meet with him. HMMMMM
