First off I want to say I really Like the new cd. Its done very very well.. The music is cool and I've heard that people like it..

My only thought is after Christmas, who is gonna want to listen or buy the cd? Its a Christmas item. I mean when TS plays shows in 2007 the couldn't possibly play those tunes in Feb, march July etc.....

I'm sure everyone has thought of this.....{the band, the record company and the fans} It seems like alot of effort and money has gone into a project that the selling window is one month.....

They should of did half Christmas songs and half originals... Then I could understand the theory behind the cd..

Any thoughts from other SMF's..

Thanks

Any thought?

While I would have rather had an album of new orginals the band wanted christmas. So be it. Your right it won't sell much after christmas but like every xmas album it will sell again every year at christmastime. I guess its more of a long term investment vs a short term investment.

Why short time investment? Stay Hungry for example is not a short time investment....You still have kids who buy that record.....
I bought all albums on originals few years ago, i bought the new DVD, the Under The Blade LP from '85 recently, so there must be some other kids who do that too....

Just Like every Great Christmas Album.....This will come off the rack in my home every Thanksgiving and will be a part of the Holiday Traditon. I am sure my house will not be alone in adding this to there holiday playlist fron now on.....This album will sell lots of copies for ever.....Can you imagine in the 80's thinking Twisted Sister would be on your holiday music list for years to come....Thats what this album is all about.....It will gain a cult following and probably sell more copies next year that this year!!!!
