Saber ,

Did you see Vain? I knida had a lost weekend between 86 and 89 and until my friend turned me on to them, had no clue. Would have loved to see them though. Do remember Grim Reaper.

Sure saw Vain at the Cat Club. Davy Vain was a star, no doubt about it. I saw Grim Reaper with Helloween and Armored Saint at Sundance.

You lucky stiff. Did he open or headline. Saw the other bands at L'Amour's. I wonder if VAIN ever played L'Amour's. On second thought I don't want to know. lol

Yeah it was a headlining gig technically. On Wed. nights the Cat Club used to have the best new bands play. It wpuld usually start at like 7 with an open bar til 9 and the band went on around 8pm. The record companies paid for the open bar to get writers and industry folk to see their baby bands. Saw tons of cool band sfor the first time like Alice in Chains, Extreme, White Trash, Shotgun Messiah,Vain,Pretty Boy Floyd and so much more.

Lucky stiff !

If you ever need help just give me a shout. lol
So this was actually an industry thing and not open to the general public.
Did they ever do a real tour of the North East that you know of.
