It didn't get very far - because Sykes joined Thin Lizzy shortly after they did their demo.

The frontman for this Badlands was John Sloman, who was in Uriah Heep. Read what little history there is here.

And thanks for the correction re Rhett. It was Atlanta, not Phoenix.

Wow!! I guess you learn something new every day!!! I've been a big John Sykes fan for years since his days with Thin Lizzy and I never knew about this project. Speaking of great bands that never broke it big here in the states, I'd have to say the Lizzy qualifies! I've always been of the opinion that they are one of the most under rated bands of all time.

And as for Rhett Forrester, he was great with Riot! "Restless Breed" is one of the all time great metal albums for me!! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
