Location: Noo Yawk | Spoke to Jay Jay late this afternoon, and things are starting to move with A Twisted Christmas and other things TS. I've been putting info together for the home page of the site, but figured I'd post it back here first, so you SMFs will be at least a little bit ahead of the curve... here's the info I got today:
October 14: Billboard Magazine, widely regarded as the Music Industry Bible, will release a special issue commemorating the 30th Anniversary of TS.
October 15: It becomes official - TS will be inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame, along with Billy Joel and other LI artists. Twisted's legendary status on Long Island has been cast in stone for a long time, and they finally get official props for it!
October 17: A Twisted Christmas arrives in record stores everywhere.
And this might be the best news of all:
December 1 - December 31: The Twisted Christmas Tour happens! Dates TBA.
And finally - I'll be posting a full version of the first track from A Twisted Christmas in a short while. Sorry, kids - it'll be streaming audio, no downloads.
Update: I notice I've been scooped on the audio. Ah, well - I'll be putting it up anyway...Check it out on the home page.
