I'm possibly getting one for my B-Day next year, so can somebody tell me how many songs one usually holds?
I've got a shitload of CDs and counting and I wanna know how much of my collection I could fit on it.
They have all different capacities so it's really up to the user to decide how many songs they want to put on it. Since you're new to the iPod thing, I'll just throw this out there:
There are lots of different companies that make mp3 players. iPods are not the only mp3 players out there as pop culture would have you believe. I personally would recommend a Creative model. They're cheaper, have more options, and have far fewer issues with them. (I actually have an iPod myself and it freezes up on my all the time!) I sell mp3/video players from Creative and Toshiba as well as iPods at work and I would have to say that the Creative players blow away the iPods in my opinion. Apple has just done a much better job of marketing. Don't get me wrong. The iPods do the trick and they look better but the Creatives are just a much better player with more options for less money. Check 'em out and make your own decision, though.
