Location: Toronto, Canada | My buddy and I did make it to the show, well, just barely. After getting stuck at work later than planned and then stuck in traffic getting out of Toronto, we finally made it to the show just before the encore! At about 6:45, 100km away from the US border, we called the venue to make sure the show would still go even with the rain. That was confirmed and we were told TS would go on around 8:30-9. Cool, we thought, shouldn't miss that much. Think again!
We parked the car across the street from the park, and could hear the booming sound crystal clear as we got out of the car. The area residents must have loved it! If memory recalls they were playing Under The Blade, though I could be mistaken as the set list Joe Rock posted lists Burn in Hell right before I Wanna Rock, and we were inside the gates for that one. The sound was crystal clear, and for the few songs that we were there for, the band were in top form. It was a real treat hearing Come Out and Play in its entirety (the song that is, not the album) as I've been used to hearing the intro and then another song played.
There were some 15 or so rows of seats set up, that were barricaded in for some reason (though most were empty as the people inside the barricade were up front at the stage) so we found a spot centre stage just beyond the barricade, just in front of the bleachers. I could see Danny Stanton off to the side of the stage, waiting with towel in hand for Dee to come off the stage. After the show was over, I was looking out for MP and Joe Rock, who would presumably be with Mitch, but in the darkness and the rain, everybody must have taken off very quickly and I caught up with nobody. Despite asking various security personnel, Danny was nowhere to be located either. So a very brief trip to Detroit Rock City ended very quickly, and hit the road back to Toronto we did.
Hopefully another show will come up before the year is up, that is close enough for me to make. Pennsylvania is a possibility but not sure yet.

Corey
