Location: Philadelphia, PA | I can back Saber up on that. I have every CD I own plus some downloads in addition to a large photo library on a 30 GB photo iPod. I have everything from Johnny Cash to The Ramones to Chopin (no, Fred's not playing). I also can upload the prior day's Stern show onto it so I'm not tied to the Sirius reciever.
As Saber reports, playlists are really functional. I have a Stern show playlist with some of the music from the show like Train playing Zep and the Fab Faux doing their thing.
It fits right nicely in my left front jean pocket and I can operate the controls from outside the pocket (it only looks like I'm playing with myself).
There are also a ton of podcasts available for just about everything imaginable. There are a couple of cool science ones (for geeks like me), as well as new music, politics, news, comedy, etc.
