Location: Chicago | This is a really tough one as I've seen hundreds of shows. There are definately a few shows that stand out above the rest.
Alice Cooper
Metallica (Justice For All...) with Queensryche (Mindcrime) opening up
Metallica-Guns 'n Roses-Motorhead at the Rose Bowl
Kiss at the KROQ Weenie Roast (warm up gig for the Reunion Tour)
Black Sabbath (with Rob Halford on vocals) opening for Ozzy "farewell" show (Halford singing for Sabbath was as good as a wet dream!)
David Lee Roth's first solo tour with Steve Vai and Billy Sheehan
Dio on the Holy Diver tour
Black Sabbath on the Reunion tour with Ozzy
All of these shows and more by themselves were fantastic but bands that have been consistantly great every time I saw them would of course be Twisted Sister at the top of the list and Judas Priest would have to be next in line. Metallica have been consistantly great every time I've seen them as well. I'd also have to put King's X right up there, too but you have to see them headline with their own sound man because when they open up the sound man always makes them sound like shit.
