Van Helsing was a completely different project--you're mixing apples and bicycles here. One of the many reasons why Dee's Broadway album tanked--many "fans" (I use the term loosely) like you wouldn't even give it a listen. You pronounced it crap without ever hearing a single song.
And the Rock Musical in Chicago is BROADWAY theatre, not a metal concert. I just bought my plane ticket to Chicago….why the fuck not? I bet it's a hoot. Dee is amazing in theatre--I loved him in Rock of Ages. (Guessing you didn't go see that either.)
Try following what I wrote. I said, that Dee used to say, "if it aint metal, it's crap." Dee removed the Overkill member from Van Helsing's Curse, because he didn't want it to be a metal project. You even say that the Chicago is not metal. As far as not listening to Dee's Broadway album, I don't listen to Broadway songs, and Dee didn't even say it was metal. |
