Sorry no meetup maybe next time... and sorry for being so rough... the Bronx comes right out of me. Still, although I am neither an accountant nor a tax attorney, I dont believe any of those services could be considered donations. And it is really hard to get the IRS to approve a 501 3 c these days. Maybe for the Church of Twisted Sister...see you at the next show maybe!
We all worked for free. No one got paid to play, work, or run. The proceeds went to charity, not to pay salaries, can you dig it? :-)
I'll write the road report shortly…but I did a grand total of just over 13 miles of running on show day for the Best Buy--and it was an honor and pleasure to do it. I don't get a tax write-off for the work I do for Twisted Sister, but then again, I'm not doing it for the money or the IRS. I love doing it. Period. It isn't work when you're following your passion. |
