Location: Baltimore, MD | Russell (Russ) Zutto is his name--he knows Mark well and he was personally asked by Mark to fill in for him at Graspop. Even though Russ was familiar with Twisted's music, you just have to give him the utmost respect and admiration--he had almost no notice, 2 quick rehearsals and an absolutely memorable "secret" rehearsal backstage with Jay Jay and AJ before the show. Russ did an amazing job--and he was cool as a cucumber--he wasn't nervous, he knew he had an important job to do and he delivered the goods. Outstanding!
Of course we all missed having Animal pound away, but Russ still did a fantastic job. (Twisted Sister has had last minute substitutions during emergencies before....I have to say, getting the call to headline Graspop is probably one in a million!)
