What I meant to type...running order is something that it seems that most bands do NOT always have a lot of control over. Sometimes, I swear, the fans know more about the band lineups and show times than the artists do.
It's funny...when I'm in the front row, I usually know when Twisted is taking the stage down to the minutes. Working crew? I know it's time when I see the production crew head to the booth.
As for the business side--that is strictly for the management folks. My job is mostly to serve as a runner. I wouldn't know the business end of music from a carrot.
I'll take 1 hr of Twisted music over 4 hours of some other bands. Hell, it took me 5 hours of heavy freeway driving in traffic to make the benefit, and they played 8 songs. (still awesome. still worth it) Graspop is going to be insane!! I highly recommend it |
