| Many conflicting things said over the years. Paul and Gene act like they don't even know who Jay Jay is when asked about him auditioning for Wicked Lester. Here Jay Jay say's he WAS in Wicked Lester with Gene and Paul and that Ace replaced him. Either way, Jay Jay some how being linked to KISS gave them some free publicity at the time. I also have seen video of the entire band on some TV show where they lip sync a song and do an interview after where Jay Jay says the same thing. Around 1983/84.
