Poison are not so big in Europe.
They can play and people would like to see them, but they were never that huge.
they may not be big in europe but again these festivals are usually in the middle of summer and its not economical for poison to play there when they can play about 10 shows here in the USA on a big summer long tour in the same timeframe they would play 3-4 festivals in the span of a month in europe. at least 2 guys in poison have other jobs, the drummer runs his own custom drum kit company and the bass player is a manager/book keeper for other bands. they free up their summer and do a tour and thats it. both twisted sister and poison are from the USA so as an american this is where is matters. i could care less how many tickets any band can sell in some place i am not going to see. music isn't a competition and twisted sister is miles better than poison but both twisted sister and poison played a place here in richmond known as innsbrook after hours and i can state without any doubt the crowd for poison was at least 4X bigger.
