I would personally play like this:
Make the cut outs, but the characters in clothes as super heroes or super villains, and eventually leave Universal a small script or something for them to make cartoon, game, movie based on those characters in the future...
He had something there but lost a lot of time for nothin'.... Maybe Penn's ideas were better, but seemed more complicated and ''out of time'' |
