Location: Belgium | Yes and Metallica played with short hair during the Load/Reload period. These are both examples of bands with an identity crisis at that moment. You cannot say that the no make-up period of Kiss was the highlight in their exsistance? Same for Metallica. I believe you can say the same thing about Twisted Sister after the failure of Love is for suckers and the troubles within the band. Now that they are back at the top of the scene, I believe they should reinstate the trademarks from their past. Don't get me wrong I'd rather see them 5 playing without the make-up than 1 original member and 4 replacements with the make-up. And I know the make-up doesn't make the music better, it's just an extra part of the whole Twisted Sister experience. It saddens me that nobody feels the same way. I had great fun last year at Graspop but when I think of Twisted Sister, the first thing that crosses my mind, is the first time I saw the videoclip of We're not gonna take it on MTV and that is how I will remember Twisted Sister! |
