Location: Chicago | OK. I called again earlier today and the guy I spoke to told me that the show would be 21+. After explaining my situation, he suggested calling back tonight to speak to a manager. He said that they had been receiving a lot of calls about the age restriction. So that's what I did. I just got off the phone with a manager at The Emporium and he told me that there had been a miscommunication and that the Twisted show would be an ALL AGES show!
So I don’t know if it was the facebook messages from everyone, the phone calls from everyone, or a polite intervention from our good friend Danny but I want to thank everyone for their support and part in getting the club to change their stance no matter how big or small. This is just another example of the kind of people that follow Twisted Sister and it shows that the guys in the band care about their fans because I suspect that this wouldn’t have been changed if someone associated with the band didn’t at least say something. Either way, Thanks EVERYONE!
Now I can really start to look forward to the show! My daughter is excited and this will be our first real father/daughter trip with just the 2 of us. I can’t wait! We’ll see you all there on the 16th!!!
