There was a number of things that led up to the downfall of the band at this time. The choice of singles off Come Out and Play was just the nail in the coffin. Leader of the Pack was a terrible choice obviously and the band even admits that looking back on it now. There are definitely some great songs on COAP but that wasn't one of them. "Be Crool to Your Scuel" was pretty cheesy as well. Probably the 2 worst songs on the album. "I Believe in You" would have been a great single. "Out on the Streets" or the title track might have been good ones as well.
