Location: Austria | Terry, yeah. It would have been cool to meet up, well, maybe next time... but then again, I wouldn't know where to fit that in, as I was heading from one "appointment" to the other that day, I wasn't really there for fun it was all business. First I had to see the Spudmonsters, then it was over to the mainstage to see Thin Lizzy and to find out where Dee's booksigning would be. After Lizzy, it was on to the booksigning (which would have been really, really cool, had I really, really known what to say, didn't really think that one quite through as there really would have been more time to say something than I've expected, but THANK YOU, DEE FOR DOING THAT SIGNING) after that we headed back to the car to get the book (great read so far) to safety. When we returned to the festival site it was about time thinking about getting to the front (we average people still have to put some effort in getting there ), so we were on our way during Trivium and by the time Megadeth started I was at my usual spot in the front row on the left and stayed there until TS finished.
JP, well, no, not really... but it's been 4 years... by now everyone in that crew looks somewhat familiar to me, so it took a moment for me to realize "Hey, I really know that guy!". Yeah, the next time we all should meet up. Also I had no idea that Dave was gonna be there. It would have been cool to get together after the show. |
