Location: Baltimore, MD | Thank you all very much--I've said it many times, but worth saying again. The band, the crew, and most importantly, my fellow SMFs...are my family. I love you, my Twisted family, very much. Your good wishes mean more to me than I can ever express.
The 40's have not been great to me healthwise, and this DID turn out to be the "sickest" birthday ever , just not the "sick" I wanted. I went to AJ's benefit on May 9th (report coming....) and on the 10th, my birthday, I had a MRI because the pain I've been having in my hip/lower back got worse.
I'm meeting with a team of physicians this week. They identified....well...something unidentified in the organs where the pain is. We're hoping for the best (and my doctor is optimistic that it will be benign).
I tell you all this--because I still don't have my travel tickets for Europe (waiting to get some info from "inside" sources to help me plan flights, hotels, etc.) and my one doc is advising me to consider surgery before I go. I've met with my family here and they support me: I'm going to Europe no matter what, Norway thru Belgium, and I'll deal with the problem when I get back. No regrets.
So I give you my absolute word--the next 4 reports coming from Europe will be longer, wordier and crazier than ever. I love Twisted Sister, I love my S.M.F. family and I love bringing the road reports to you. It has given my life new meaning.
I promise to see you on the road.....love to all.
