| I was just thinking about a Bent Brother show at the Downtown in Farmingdale. I believe it was 2003. One of the openers, Vixen, were playing Sweet Jane. Jay Jay came from backstage, guitar in hand, and plugged in to join in the jam. The stage lit up, and the song suddenly had a stronger vibe. It's amazing how one man's stage presence and playing style can contribute so much to a song or performance. Thanks for the memory Mr. French. By the way, my 9 year old daughter still cherishes the guitar pick you gave her at an in store appearance in '09, as well as the photos with each member of the band. The music and the memories to last a lifetime.
Oh, how I wish I could hear the old Twisted version of Sweet Jane again. | |
