Couldn't agree more Terry, having experienced how Danny and the guys look after the fans (and in my case the whole family) and just how special they make you feel as an SMF. I have also met a number of other slamboard SMF's from all over the world (in a few different countries too!!) and have loved every minute of it.
What I love about this band is that a concert isn't just a bunch of guys on stage, pelting out the songs (although they do that per excellence) ............ it's the "experience" you talked about above. Experience with a capital "E" - the planning, the travel, the meeting of old and new Twisted friends, the introducing of 'newbies' to the whole thing. All that is distilled into the 'Experience' and every time I hear "It's A Long Way ..." whether it’s on the iPod, the radio, in the car, wherever - I get the same rush I get when the lights dim and it blasts out at the start of the show.
Looking forward to many more experiences too
