How can I be so upset by a confirmed Twisted show - maybe because I have just paid out £250 for Download ticket and (non-refundable) hotel - and it's the same weekend!!!!. I would have gladly paid this money out and driven the distance to have seen Twisted in Holland (as I did for Nijmegan 2008 & Bospop 2010).
Still, the important news is they are booking for next year - guess I hope they get the sub-headline slot just before Black Sabbath at Download on Sunday 10th June, (60 minutes on main stage would be fitting for Twisted - especially after rave reviews last year at Donington) - or any other dates in UK.

Last year was my first year at Download (only went for the one day because Twisted were playing) thought it looked OK - not massive fan of Metallica or Black Sabbath - but never seen Ozzy and thought Metallica would be good live so I took the plunge - nothing better then a weekend of metal(wish I had waited now- the only thing better is seeing Twisted live). We need to get rumours out on the board earlier - even if it usually leads to heart-break because the dates don't come through for what ever reason.

Was tempted to look at NY dates this Christmas but job security is questionable at present (good old NHS) so didn't think it too wise to get deep in debt right now (even for Twisted) - I have ordered the Twisted box set so I will sit at home and recall my Vegas Christmas memories - as well as great memories of Twisted in NY earlier this year.
To anybody who makes either/both NY shows and/or Holland - enjoy - I will be thinking of you - and know you are in for a great time.

One final thought, as next year sees the 30th anniversary of UTB can we expect a few more'Old school' tunes in the set list - same the following year for YCSRnR - that would just be amazing (not that any TS isn't amazing). This works on many levels - it promotes the 'new' products available and keeps the set fresh for the band and repeat attenders (I'm sure your notebook is ready for a few new surprises Terry).

P.S. Great find Marty
