Location: Baltimore, MD | Thanks George... It is truly an honor to be able to blog for the website, and I have to pinch myself, every show. This is such a dream come true: experiencing all of these concerts, being allowed to spend time with the crew and the band, visiting such wonderful cities and meeting SMFs who share my passion for Twisted Sister.
It is worth every single penny, every moment on the road, every bit of grief from work, every time the cats puke on the bed when I'm gone....
I love it and I savor each and every moment. I am so glad you enjoy them and although it is my dream to get every slamboarder to a Twisted Sister show, I hope that those who can't get there in person can get a little piece of the show experience from the road report.
Many nights on the road, I found myself logging onto the slamboard so that I wouldn't feel alone. This year my birthday was very subdued--the folks who remembered it? My mother....and the SMFs. Sometimes, late at night when I can't sleep, I'll log onto the website and read old threads, watch old videos, look at concert photos. I put TS on my screensaver at work (against policy! oops!) and have some Twisted memorabilia at my office--when I'm having a tough day, it just makes me remember the good stuff.
The blog...this website....the slamboard....the SMFs....all gifts from Twisted Sister that have enriched my life. |
