I'm not sure what the reasons are but Dee recently mentioned that there will be no new album as did Jay Jay recently.

All I know is if the last new album is left at Loves For Suckers,TWISTED SISTER are doing themselves a HUGE disservice. The fans have been itching for new material for so long now. I love the reissues but we've been bombarded with 3 versions of Stay Hungry (2006 remaster/25th remaster/Still Hungry), Christmas album (yeah I liked it), and now lots of old stuff. Granted it's cool stuff, some of it.
What I'm sure many SMFs worldwide want though is a new back to basics Under The Blade style album of this era.

Twisted....if you're gonna end it please end it the right way and satisfy true SMFs wishes for one last kick ass rock 'n' roll album. I want to one of my fave bands go out in a blaze of glory as recording artists not just a kick ass live band. Once TS is gone as a live band, the albums are what we are left with.

Jay Jay and Dee.... you've both mentioned KISS in interviews of the past. Well look who is making new music now? The tide has turned.

It's 2011, yeah albums arnt selling but they also cost alot LESS to make.
If King Kobra can do it, Twisted Fuckin Sister can.

what 2006 remaster of stay hungry are you talking about? is it an import? atlantic records never remastered it until the 25th anniversary set.

ant btw that king kobra album is insanely good

Perhaps but KK will never be a solid draw like TS anywhere nor get any big tour offers because despite recording a new CD, its nostalgia at best. KK is not a band thats going to put butts in seats in 2011.

While I would love to hear new TS as well (like "30") JJ imo is correct on the business side of not wanted to release new material.

Thats really my point....if it's possible for King Kobra....whatever Twisted would/could do would sell more because they are out there performing and visible to many more people. Plus it's alot cheaper to make albums in this day and age.
To make a Under The Blade/YCSRNR in 2011 costs a fraction of what it used to. We dont need no lavish production values just raw power.
