You're (which would have been correct grammar in your sentence) = you are.
TS is not any other band you mentioned, just as if you're someone who has had multiple employers, they don't all have the same "rules".
Would we all like it if they played in our hometown at our favorite venue, multiple times per year? Yes. They don't though, due to their own "rules".
For the record, you mentioned Bon Jovi. They play sold out arenas and stadiums all over the world. With ticket prices these days, it's a safe bet that they get (mainly Jon, with the rest of the band on a small salary) a guarantee of at least $500,000 per concert. That's what KISS and Rush get. If TS were on that level of demand and success these days (which they're not), then it's a pretty safe guess that they'd be out there too in the U.S. playing 40 - 50 summer shows in the sheds and arenas. | |
