INFUCKINGCREDIBLE! Not sure it's in the dictionary, but it should be to explain shows like Twisted Sister gave to Vegas. I'll try to provide a few observations from my view of the show. Unfortunately only my third time to catch my favorite band, and first since San Antonio 2 years ago. They came out hard and fast as usual and play that great kick you in the face music we know to expect from this group of professionals. Dee sounded great and have to applaud him for returning so soon in the great form we are all used to. Great set list with a few surprises as you have likely seen, the hardest problem is narrowing the list I'm sure. Mark was a beast on stage from his normal pounding of the bass, to destroying his mic stand near the end of the set. Funny point for me was his stepping on Dee's mic stand while the crew was trying to set it back up. You can tell he isn't having much fun at all. Jay Jay and Eddie were great and played flawlessly together, you'd think these guys play every night as well as they combined for the Sister sound. A.J. pounded the hell outta the skins and treated us to a damn fine solo late in the set. I guess some of the other real memorable moments came from the groups usual banter with the crowd. The patio area had a large swimming pool in it, so Dee found that ripe for some great lines. "Now we're one of those bands playing Spring Break" as well as publicly declaring the band to be "The Jimmy Buffet of Heavy Metal" singing songs like "Wasted and Wasted...Fuck Margaritaville".
He also was quick to point out any idiots hanging out near the back close to the doors, and encourgaed them "Your bus is leaving" and another couple jabs as well. Thank you Twisted Sister for giving me yet another great concert memory. Keep rocking hard as always. Last props go out to Daniel for his ever watchful eye and his attention to detail. We had a fan standing in front of me that was around 7 years old and Dee commented on how she matched him lyric for lyric all night long. When Dee encouraged us to move past the barricade for SMF the last song the kid got scared with all the pushing up front. I spotted Daniel who noticed the situation and helped the kid onto the stage for her protection. All ended well and they have a concert memory like no other. You are a class act representing a class group of hard rock MF's. Thanks for the experience and keep rocking everybody.
