Location: Over the Rainbow. | For me, when it comes to lyrics, theres far to many to mention. But what GJG hit on is priceless. The first time I held that piece of Vinyl in my hands and could actually take the Boyz home and listen to them anytime I wanted was amazing. Then duping it to cassette so you could listen in the car lol WHo gave a shit the sound quality sucked from having one of those mic's dangling infront of your stero speaker and having it cranked way to loud. lol
And that 45 my friends was none other then I'll never grow up now the tip of the iceberg, the ship that launched an entire fleet, the first time you hear a baby cry and know all is well. Other milestones after that watching them perfect the show and kicking and scratching thier way to the top, actually being able to buy RUFF CUTTS in a music store and when they came back and played Snoopys after making it like they always promised they'd never forget the original SMF's. That had to be the biggest crowd Snoopy's ever had and it was kinda a telltale sign this chapter was over. No band deserved it more from the day IMHO.
But Glens right cause when your at a TS gig and them lights go down and you hear the amps starting to spew magic it's like being in the front car of a rollercoaster with your hands up going down the biggest drop only coming up for air when the last notes been played. PRICELESS.
When I'm in that old aged home dribbling on myself and the nurses are always wondering why I have that shit eating grin on my face little will they know I'm belly up to the stage with the smell of stale beer and the Boyz kicking are arses. lmao Alzheimer has some rewards ;-)
Now bring on VEGAS the Boyz still have a few more asses to kick. |
