What better setting then Sin City for the Boyz to show em how the West was won with some East coast kick ass in your face metal. The setting couldn't be more perfect, OK I gotta admit I didn't miss the pool lol, between the lights and sounds of the one arm bandits banging away in the background you know the devil met his match. The Joint in the Hard Rock never stood a chance as people started pouring in right before the Boyz were to take the stage. Always amazing how 1/2 hr before show time you look back and wonder where everyone is then at 5 to 9 the place is packed. lol Somethings never change.

As usual our little crew, minus one the Pope had religious duties to perform, were belly up to the stage. And it was a pleasure to finally meet Cindy from Canada and Dave and his girl friend all true SMF's. It's a long way starts blaring from the PA and the crowd knows were moments away from 90 mins of a brutal ass kicking. The Boyz hit the stage to an ear splitting round of applause. I'm terrible at set lists so just Imagine the usual selection and include It's onlly Rock n Roll.

The Boyz were tight song after song and delivered a 110% show as only they can. Dee was allowed to curse .. nuff said! lol Jay Jay OWNS the solo in It's only Rock and Roll and came front and center at the very edge of the stage to kick our asses further. Man can that dude play the guitar. MAM's mic stand which usually gets a workout was bent in half to the floor and a new one had to be brought out. And again that man was pulling notes out of thin air playing the bass as only he can never to be duplicated. Eddie and AJ were on the attack and with the 5 of them being on the show was one I'm sure the Joint will never forget. And hearing people in the crowd who have seen many shows there it's not speculation its fact!

I met a dude from the Yogi Berra show who was friends with 9er, so 9er give him a shout out for me. Very nice guy even if he forgot to bring me a beer during the show. lol j/k
This was a great road trip and seeing The Mayor who was missed in Detriot and hanging with Klo only made it that much better. Next scheduled stop on the Sister express is Pittsburg Dec 9th. This Sundays the bike-a-thon and the Christmas album is due out mid Oct and hopefully a few more Twisted events to sink our teeth in.
