A special thanks to DCT (AKA "THE MAYOR") for her gracious hospitality and for going above and beyond the call of duty meeting and greeting the SMF's and making us feel at home. It was great to finally meet some of the SMF's on this board.
After a day of pig races, horse rides, tractor races, lumber jack contests, fried cheese and cheese cake with chocolate on a stick, (which Jay-Jay said should be served with two lipitor) T/S was truly the grand finale.
The boys were awesome. The cool crisp night air went on fire when the boys began to play. Dee's vocals were in their prime. He had the audience in the palm of his hand. He even challenged the people on the ferris wheel to join in when they did "I Wanna Rock".
Dee went on to say that Mick Jagger vomited twice when he heard T/S's version of "It's only Rock and Roll" and Keith Richards vomited but he always vomits anyway. The performance was AWESOME!
Jay-Jay did a guitar solo that was absolutely incrediable. He had the energy of a neuclear explosion and the skill of perfection.
Mark was phenomenal. He played and banged his bass guitar so hard I thought he would break it. He never missed a beat or a note. The crowd was screaming "ANIMAL" and he certainly lived up to his legacy.
A.J. did a spectacular drum solo that pushed the crowd to the edge.
Eddie, quiet as usual, played exceptional.
T/S wrapped up the night but left the crowd wanting more.
Later, the boys topped off the night by doing a meet and greet, signing autographs, and taking pictures with fans and SMF's. As usual they were gracious and accomodating.
It was a performance I will always remember. Thanks DCT, Joe Rock, Marty, Cindy, and Mitch for "living in the Moment" and sharing all the fun. These are memories I will always treasure!
Thanks to everyone for the AWSOME weekend!
